In 1979, Play Master acquired Renaissance, a manufacturer of high-end custom pool tables, and the company became known as Play Master-Renaissance, a leading producer of pool tables and game tables. By 1993, we were one of the largest domestic pool table manufacturers. When AMF Bowlings, approached me about selling the company, I decided to give retirement a try, and sold the company. In 1998, my son Chuck, suggested that we start a new company. Our customer base is rapidly expanding, and we had the honor of being named a Consumer Digest Best Buy in September 2000.
